Edflex, a major player in corporate digital training, is stepping onto the ice for its first sports sponsorship teaming up with the Ducs d’Angers, one of France’s top professional ice hockey teams. This collaboration kicks off Edflex’s “2026: The Year of Sports”, which highlights Edflex’s commitment to performance, teamwork, and a culture of continuous growth.
A Strategic Move for a Scaling Brand
As part of the partnership, the Edflex brand will be featured prominently on players’ helmets to put the company in the spotlight as the Ducs aim to participate in the European Cup in November and have players qualify for the 2026 and 2030 Olympic Games.
"Sports sponsorship shows that we’ve arrived as a company ready to play at the highest level. It’s a way to share our culture, inspire our employees, and signal our long-term ambition beyond the B2B space," says Philippe Riveron, Chairman and Co-Founder of Edflex.
Ice hockey was a strategic choice, as it’s an international sport popular in key Edflex markets (France, Italy, United States, and Canada), yet underleveraged by B2B tech brands. The Ducs d’Angers were also selected because of Edflex’s growing presence in Western France, home to several of its clients like Baker Tilly, TGS, In Extenso, Vyv3, and more.
"We’re thrilled to welcome Edflex to the Ducs family. This partnership is about more than visibility—it’s about shared values of performance, commitment, and teamwork. Seeing a French tech scale-up invest in our club shows that top-level sports can attract new players who value authenticity and strong principles," says Rodolphe Intsaby, President of the Ducs d’Angers.
2026: The Year of Sports
Edflex’s partnership also aligns with its mission to engage its 300+ clients and energize their learners. 2026 will feature an editorial focus on sports, including new exclusive content and quarterly challenges tied to major sporting events across the globe.
With France’s Olympic ice hockey team, which includes several Ducs players, securing qualification, and growing media buzz around the Ducs’ European Cup run, 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year for sports, both on and off the ice.
A Natural Extension of Edflex’s Culture
The sponsorship reflects Edflex’s internal commitment to sports by:
- Encouraging collective effort, resilience, and personal growth
- Providing easy access to sports activities for all employees
- Hosting regular internal challenges such as running, football, padel, and more
"Like sports, learning requires commitment, continuous progress, and teamwork. Sponsoring a team helps us unite internally and inspire our people and clients alike," adds Carole Vendé, VP People & Impact.
