Develop employee self-training through an open access content system

Pierre Fabre has integrated the Edflex catalog into its Talentsoft LMS platform to offer its employees the opportunity to upgrade their skills to maximize their impact.

About the context

Pierre Fabre is a french pharmaceutical and dermo-cosmetic group created in 1962.Very present on health and beauty issues, the group also has a fundamental mission to improve access to care and medicines for populations in the least developed countries.

Since the end of April 2020, Pierre FabreUniversity has made the Edflex training catalog available to its employees to support them in their skills development.Integrated into their Talentsoft LMS platform, we offer employees content linked to their very concrete business needs as well as to more transversal skills

What are the objectives

Before contacting our teams, Pierre FabreLaboratories offered regulatory, office automation and business training, some of which was freely available on their "TrainYourself" tab. However, these courses only came from training courses produced internally or by agencies. They therefore wanted to considerably enrich their training offer for their employees.

Thus, they were looking for content to integrate directly into their LMS to broaden their vision of training. The objective was to offer, in addition to a space dedicated to their internal training, a second space with free access available for self-training. An ideal combo!

Implementing a strategy

To deploy this "Train Yourself" space, the Pierre Fabre Group initially fed it with internal resources. However, it soon became necessary to find an external supplier to feed the catalog. Today, it is our educational experts who enrich it by curating content.

For example, learners can find resources on first aid or numerous language categories.Personal development, working in project mode or working together, the themes of transversal skills are the most appreciated:the top 3 most consulted resources are also part of it.

Analysing the results

With an average progression of 120 learners per month, the launch of a free access offer with Edflex has been a great success with Pierre Fabre employees.

Moreover, the project pleases its users as much as it does the managers who can access their statistics very easily. They can thus monitor the progress of their employees.
